G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 83A of the Finance Act, 1994 (32 of 1994), read with rule 3 of the Service Tax Rules, 1994, the Central Board of Excise and Customs appoints the Commissioner of Service Tax, Mumbai, and invest with him all the power of Central Excise Officer throughout the territory of India, for the purposes of adjudication of show cause notices issued to M/s Tata Consultancy Services Ltd., by the Mumbai Zonal Unit of the Directorate General of Central Excise Intelligence, under F. No. DGCEI/MZU/I & IS “C”/12 (4)118/2006.
